Scheduled some non-available time in December for #sonTwo's birthday. His brothers are going to start thinking he's the favorite, especially if I schedule time in March for his #GS3's birthday.

New videos from one of my daughters-in-law: She’s using the blocks I bought to teach #GS3 to say the names of colors. So far, he says “purple” and “yellow”. I do not know whether he realizes that “purple” goes with the purple-colored blocks and “yellow” goes with the yellow-colored blocks, but that’s a start. He still calls both parents (and grandpa!) “Da…

I awoke to see a screenshot of #sonOne's order of clothing for #Daddy_A's daughter #Little_Girl_A3. He got everything: shoes, socks, pants, panties, shirts. There's even one item that might be a jacket. Now grandpa needs to put in an order for clothing for #Little_Boy_A and #Little_Boy_A2.
I also have a list of items to order for #GS3.

Shared #Daddy_A's financial status with his brothers. We're going to team up to get the kids some clothing and shoes. For some value of 'we', considering that I and #sonTwo's in-laws are already buying #GS3's clothes.

#sonTwo tells me that #GS3 keeps grabbing the remote and pushing buttons.
That's consistent with my experience. The child is attracted to buttons, lights, beeps, and screens, and touches / pushes to make things happen.

Taking that trip to #MO seems to have helped. #GS3 is interacting with me more when we #videochat. Next up is to try to set up multi-way chats, so that the grandkids can know each other better.

So removing #Manyverse from my #iPad released enough storage to allow me to upgrade to #iOS 14.0.1. I've since reinstalled Manyverse, and I'm currently upgrading to iOS 14.1. My impressions of iOS 14: irritating as f*ck. Every few hours (almost every time I unlock the screen), it asks me to enter my AppleID password. You know, that long and complex machine-generated string that…

Arrived back in my #SoCal hometown. #GS3 (1 1/2 years old) is truly wonderful. Very active, to the point that standard sized clothing appropriate for his height is too wide for him.
We had a great time. We must have read “the Mama book” (Jimmy Fallon) 25 times.
When he got up this morning and saw my suitcase, he was sad. Without anyone saying it, he knew I was leaving.

I’m really going to miss #GS3 when I go back to #SoCal, but I have some stuff I must do.

#GS3 is liking the daily yoghurt. He'll be double disappointed when I'm gone and he's not getting a share of my #YoCo ( #yogurt and #coffee )

I like watching the persistence of small children. When #GD2 was this age, they had a wooden porch about two feet high. She wanted to get off the porch and go to the fence. Every few minutes, she would try to make a break for it and we’d have to catch her before she ran off the edge. She would come from different directions, be facing somewhere else and suddenly turn and run.…

Had to put the puppy in her pen. She has sharp, pokey teeth, and she’s trying to gnaw on everything and everyone. I kept giving her the doggy chew toy, but she prefers elbows and wrists.
I mostly kept her toothies off of #GS3.

Going to wear my #Dodgers shirt today. Since #sonTwo only works one job today, he and I and #GS3 are going to take photos all wearing Dodger Blue.

22:15, but 1 1/2 year old #GS3 is still not asleep.
-
We took #GS3 to see goats, chickens, and a pumpkin patch. He’s tired now, but not sleeping during his delayed nap. I can hear him calling “Oh, no!” from his room.
-
Mark called to tell #GS3 hello. K and S asked me to send a photo of my grandson, but I’m not about to ask my daughter-in-law for permission.
-
His most frequent phrase is "Oh, no!", but he doesn't know what it means.
Me: Would you like some apples?
#GS3: Oh, no! (Eagerly grabs slices of apple.)

I bought a big book of Bible stories during today's walk. So #GS3 got a bit of a reprieve from the Mama book that we read multiple times per day.

Tonight's dinner was a beef roast and macaroni & cheese. Mac & cheese is normally one if #GS3's favorite foods, but he wasn't very interested this time. He tossed most of it down on the floor, and the dogs ate it. He loved his dessert--apple slices--until he got near the end and fed the rest to the puppy.

#GS3 is sharing my #yogurt, but not my #coffee. #YoCo
