So removing #Manyverse from my #iPad released enough storage to allow me to upgrade to #iOS 14.0.1. I've since reinstalled Manyverse, and I'm currently upgrading to iOS 14.1. Another issue, which I've observed before. #Manyverse #iOS doesn't respond quickly to user input, so it often seems frozen. I tend to click 3-4 times before I remember to wait for it to respond.

I may back up, remove and reinstall #Manyverse before I give up on it. A lot of the people I used to see are overly political. I don’t miss that, but I’m interested—or at least I was—in the potential to enable normal (not politically obsessed) people to connect outside of #corpocentric #socnets.

Hmm. Seems like #Manyverse on my iPad is having problems connecting to pubs. In particular “SSB PeerNet USW”. I should open it on the Android tablet and see whether that one is also having trouble connecting to the pubs it uses.

I'm not saying the app itself is bad. This particular tablet (Lenovo Tab 4) seems to be memory constrained. It is overdue for retirement.
