Actually, (@mmn) doesn't appear as a link in either Mustard or the WebUI. So, Working As Designed. The only case I know where you can use a double tag indicator is when you're sending to a tag list of users, eg. @#locals (where I've added the #locals tag to my subscription of their account, see https://n2.federati.net/bobjonkman2/subscriptions for an example of #duffer ) -

@bobjonkman2 That means nothing to the average user. The average user sees another social outlet where they move and their friends don't so back they go. Google+ all over again. It doesn't help that the average user doesn't really give a shit about libre, freedom, or privacy, either. That's at least starting to change in very recent history. -

When I browse Social, I see things I like: a lot of tech discussion, etc. I don't see a lot of general discussion that would be of any interest to most people I know. @echosa The big difference between !GNUsocial and #GooglePlus is that the entire corpus of GNUsocial is available through standard protocols. I can't even view GooglePlus in my feed reader, never mind adding a message from a 3rd party client. -
