   Hey !gnusocial I don't see the link to the group if I add a parenthesis before, e.g. (!gnusocial). Is it a bug or a feature?

     @chr (!gnusocial) doesn't start with a ! and so isn't a bangtag. Neither a feature nor a bug, it just doesn't meet the definition.

     Actually, (@mmn) doesn't appear as a link in either Mustard or the WebUI. So, Working As Designed. The only case I know where you can use a double tag indicator is when you're sending to a tag list of users, eg. @#locals (where I've added the #locals tag to my subscription of their account, see https://n2.federati.net/bobjonkman2/subscriptions for an example of #duffer )
