@echosa It's not the fault of those people, but the closed apps that run every proprietary service. If # and # were available using a standard # client the average user wouldn't care either, but they would have the ability to mix'n'match their discussion no matter where it took place. Those services would then also be in competition with each other, leading to improvements for all services that's the result of any market-driven economy. But keeping themselves in isolated silos allows them to wallow in mediocrity until some small perturbation wipes them out of the market completely. Get some popcorn and watch it happen to # now.
