@tuxxus Here's my biggest issue with recruiting people to !gnusocial from, say, Twitter. When I browse Social, I see things I like: a lot of tech discussion, etc. I don't see a lot of general discussion that would be of any interest to most people I know. The content just isn't there for most people, so they see little reason to switch. It's almost like Google+ all over again. A few people switch over, most of their contacts do not, so they go back. 

That said, I still talk about Social and try to get people to sign up. I've already gotten one, and had interest from one other. It's not much, but it's something.
