@kat Can't really do that if you want federation. And I think we are many who want to keep you in our feeds ;)
However, implementing a "only subscribers can send me notifications" is something I should make a priority.

@kat Hopefully it'll settle down and get more quiet again when we carry 'em out of our pub and put up a big sign saying "cosy people welcome".
I agree that there's been much more tension recently. I hope people don't start playing along with the trolls, whether they think they're doing a good thing or not.

@kat I say we make a promise. We setup Monkeysphere on at least one webserver before next week (or something) and see how it works. I have been dying to try it out but haven't been pushed hard enough to do it yet.

@kat I think the subscriber moderation thing works fine though. I.e. the first part of limiting remote party annoyance.

@kat Ping me in a couple of days if I haven't already done this! (I'll be working all day tomorrow and thus Sunday will probably be my brain's off-day).
I thought it'd really only be necessary to block others from notifying if you were like a celebrity with a zillion fans, but this is apparently also an important use case.
