By the way, speaking of #PR, now that I’ve been back on the mainland for almost a year, the primary thing I miss about the island is the nightly beach trips.
One of my brothers went there on vacation a few years ago. Last week, he said “Did you try Latin Star in Condado? The food there is really good.” You should have said something when I was walking past there every evening.

Last year, when I was working in #PR, I saw a couple celebration in parks in San Juan’s Condado tourist section. It surprised me because I thought “Epstein the Puerto Rican Jew” (Welcome Back Kotter) was just a joke.

When I was in #PR, a local resident told me he carried an extra pair of socks with him. Since public toilets usually had no toilet paper, he would use those socks to wipe himself, then leave them there.

Kenny met me at a locally owned Italian place. Great meal. He’s spent most of the year since #PR on medical leave, but he’s planning to go back to work soon. Symptoms continue, but treatment isn’t helping.
