I texted #GS1 and #GS2 today to ask for current physical addresses. The 23 year old responded back with an address. I'm going to send a $25 gift card. The 25 year old did not respond yet, so I'll send his gift card to my daughter-in-law with a "give this to $CHILDNAME next time you see or hear from him" note.

#sonOne informed me that their cellphones are back in service, so I started the morning by sending #GD1 and #GD2 some garden photos. Then I thought it wasn't fair that I rarely communicate with their older brothers #GS1 and #GS2, so I sent them a couple of pictures also.

Okay, I think that's going on our calendar whenever I'm in that area. ("Our" == me, #sonTwo and his wife, #GS3; potentially #GS1 and / or #GS2, too, as they are in that corner of #KS.)

#GS3 got his hands on a ball-point pen, so he's got a home-made tattoo on his leg. He had to lift his leg and show his grandpa his work. He also drew on a piece of cardboard, which he also showed me. He really enjoys scribbling. We'll see if this leads to a long-term affection for writing / drawing / painting. #sonTwo is getting fewer hours at $TEMP_JOB, so he's looking forward…

Received a text message from #GS1. He and #GS2 moved in with their grandmother recently. She's got him doing some home maintenance. I'll text #GS2 in a few days to ask how he's doing.
It's amazing to watch these little guys launch from the nest.

Speaking of grandsons, #GS2 (age 21) actually responded to a text today. He's usually too busy in game world.

#GS1 and #GS2 were supposed to move yesterday, but they’ve had radio silence from their grandmother, where they’re supposed to be going.

#GS1 and #GS2 are moving out at the beginning of next month. They're going to stay with their grandmother in #Kansas. I haven't gotten any pictures of the apartment yet (nor the address).

#sonOne said something about #GS1 (and #GS2, apparently) getting their own place soon. With no need for a "boys' room" anymore, #GD1 will move in there and have her own bedroom.

#GD1 and #GD2 earch received a $100 VISA gift card instead of presents, so they are probably at the mall today or tomorrow. They both seem sort of tightfisted with their money, so it may be that they decide to leave most of that money unspent for a while.
The older two ( #GS1 and #GS2 ) have part-time jobs at a nearby fast food place, so they've already got themselves the #Steam games they might want.
