Found two manga books in English for #'s upcoming 13th birthday. She started reading them a few months ago. I honestly have no idea whether the ones I found will be enjoyable, but I'll know in about a week.

I should ask her to have her mom call me. I can send #'s gift card directly to him, because I know he'll spend it on himself without question. I want to send #'s card to her and have her get it to him ... he's the "responsible" one that will be easily guilted into putting it toward the bills. (Yes, the bills need to be paid, and he's working in fast food, so probably not getting many hours to begin with; but you have to occasionally do things for yourself or you'll wind up bitter. "I never got anything for myself to enjoy" is a terrible place to be.)
