   I mostly use olive oil for cooking, as it's the only oil that everyone in the house can agree upon. (For instance, despite all the "coconut oil isn't bad for you, it is actually good", I don't want it in anything I consume.)
   
   If I'm only making something for myself, I'll sometimes use avocado oil or safflower oil or sunflower oil instead.

    I think I'll do some topical application of canola oil. My skin recently turned extra itchy, and adding the oil to my coffee is a slow, but effective approach. I'm also lotioning up and taking vitamin E capsules, but I did stop taking supplements and adding oil to my coffee for a while.

    That’s amazing. Just two things appear to have been necessary:
    * a suitable background to be aware of tools for solving similar problems
