I checked #Multiverse on #Android. Same issue. Cannot maintain a connection to a pub, so everything I can see is weeks old.
I'll wait another week or two before I completely abandon it.
I should write up my experience with the #SSB network. I'd heard so much about this wonder of #DCO (disconnected operation) and #P2P (peer-to-peer) that I think my expectations were too high. -

I'd add this: people who recognize that centralization is one of the chief reasons for the things they like least about Twitter and Facebook will eventually start looking for decentralized / peer-to-peer / self-hosted alternatives. @bobjonkman Unless #Darkmail uses some #P2P or broadcast mechanism to spread message, some metadata will always be exposed because it is used for message routing and delivery. This kind of overpromising by privacy-oriented projects is worrisome.
