Huzzah! This will be my GNU Social account, which I will use to follow @lnxw48a1 and explore this side of the #Fediverse (since #Pleroma and #Mastodon are weirdly disconnected from #GNUSocial). Thread on #Twitter about the quarantine’s impact on !smallbiz (and therefore, on their owners, managers, employees, suppliers, customers). A lot of people in the #Fediverse don’t seem to understand that when the restaurants close, those employees, who already struggle to stay afloat, are left with nothing.

I too am with Canadian ISP #Teksavvy. I checked my bill last month, and was surprised to find it less than I expected. Apparently they lowered prices around November 2019. A couple of years ago they upgraded to unlimited/month at no charge. No way I'm ever changing! (is #Teksavvy somewhere in the !Fediverse?) /cc @guizzy

Reminder that the original harassers on this network were users of #MastoSoc and the victims were on #SPC and other instances.
Before ads about “no Nazis” brought harassers over from #Twitter and #Tumblr, the #Fediverse simply did not have this. It was get along or ignore (block) the person.

There are still plans to expand !fnetworks. Things are on hold due to my feast or famine employment schedule (and resulting financial peaks and valleys), but eventually, there should be multiple instances of #Fediverse software, #xmpp, and other federated things, most available under a unified Federati Networks account.
