@clacke Can you describe how that AP "groups" server you use works? And post its URL? I think @heluecht is doing something similar for #Friendica, but it might be helpful to make sure everyone is thinking about similar ideas. -

I had to leave the #Friendica Hackathon chat for lunch and other tasks. Now that there are no English-only speakers active, they've switched to their native Deutsche (German).
I don't understand a word (well, except loanwords and cognates).
So, for instance, they're talking about text strings and the [AP? Diaspora? DFRN?] protocol, and I understand those words, because they are the same as the English words. -

Federati N5 is currently being pounded by bots--and one #Friendica server--so I think I'll look at adding them to iptables settings. -

Definitely all #GS (and #StatusNet if there are any left; and #postActiv) instances, most #Friendica and a few #Hubzilla instances. A few remaining (not updated) #Mastodon and #Pleroma instances.
At one time, there was a plugin for WordPress that let people comment over #OStatus. I do not know if said plugin is still maintained. -

I was going to set up #Pleroma, but the PleromaFE interface has too much #JavaScript / #JabbaShit piled up ... It causes my browsers to repeatedly pop up warnings about a hung script.
