@ericxdu23@loadaverage.org BTW Upcoming version of #AndStatus will even show you your draft (unsent) responses directly in this conversation tree.
Currently I'm testing this feature, and it's really fun to see my unsent fictitious replies in a real conversation.

@dalealplay@quitter.no @thefaico@loadaverage.org #AndStatus consumes less traffic, because: 1. It doesn't need to load the same messages more than once, because it caches them locally. 2. Just the same way it caches attachments, or you may restrict attachments syncing to WiFi only (this is default setting). 3. You decide on frequency of syncing. Or you may disable automatic sy…

@mk@oracle.skilledtests.com AndStatus supports current version of the software, which was called StatusNet and which for the last two years evolves under the "GNU Social" name. Sticking to an old version of any software is a dead end, I think... But maybe only developers think so?! :-) Look at a list of useful, but not implemented yet improvements here: http://status.hackerpo…

I sure would like to have a client like #andstatus on my #debian desktop...

One way to send (to "Share") a picture via AndStatus is this: 1. Take picture. 2. Click on the picture's thumbnail to open it. 3. Open menu (tap on the picture...) 4. Select "Share" in the menu. Further select #AndStatus in a list of applications. 5. Now you're in AndStatus. If you have more than one account, select it. 6. Now you in the message Editor, with the picture alre…

@mcnalu@micro.fragdev.com @windigo@micro.fragdev.com @lnxw48@fresh.federati.net Last time it appeared that the server software didn't fully support HTTP 1.1 protocol. So we had to add "Use Legacy HTTP protocol" option to a Social Network editor of #AndStatus.

Haha, awesome. Obviously the client with the most active development, or at least in the competition alongside !andstatus.

@andresinmp@loadaverage.org Currently #AndStatus has "Copy @ author" context menu item exactly for this:
When you are creating a message, you may search or simply scroll to an author that you want to mention, and copy his "user mention" to clipboard...
More advanced tool is described here, please review: https://github.com/andstatus/andstatus/issues/224

@kris@social.adriel.info #AndStatus uses system provided colors for links. We don't set a color of links anywhere...
This means that you may try to change system wide settings somehow...
BTW, which theme are you referring to? Please post a screenshot.

@kris@social.adriel.info #AndStatus has now two means to help you understand the progress and if your post was successful or not: 1. Syncing indicator below a Timeline. It tells you, what application is doing now. 2. When the indicator's bar disappeared, you should understand that syncing has completed and now you can see results in two places: 2.1. Successfully sent/received …

#AndStatus 7.1 released with several bug fixes http://andstatus.org/changelog.html

@lanodan@loadaverage.org AFAIK GNU Social doesn't have anything like "Streaming API" for client applications. Recently @kromonos@social.bka.li started implementation of "Push notifications", but it's also not done yet from a server side, see
https://github.com/andstatus/andstatus/issues/231 There will be not much work to implement this at the #AndStatus side once it works on a server.
Your help is needed here...

@kris@social.adriel.info You could do this quicker: 1. Take picture. 2. Click on the picture's thumbnail to open it. 3. Open menu (tap on the picture...) 4. Select "Share" in the menu. Further select #AndStatus in a list of applications. 5. Now you're in AndStatus. If you have more than one account, select it. 6. Now you in the message Editor, with the picture already attach…

@colegota@gnusocial.net Did I understood you correctly that you are missing "nested conversations" in #AndStatus?
What's that?
-
@emrehan@quitter.se You may communicate in GNU Social but still keep your favorite Twitter feeds: using #AndStatus Android application

@tomas @mikael Både #Mustard och #AndStatus i #AlienDalvik öppnade en trasig URL på din IDN-adress (två okända tecken där 'ä' var). Från webbgränssnittet i Jollas webbläsare funkade det dock finfint hela vägen.

@vulgon@social.bka.li Actually it's not !AndStatus but Android system, which deletes everything related to AndStatus. Your observation may mean that Android didn't delete "Android accounts of AndStatus type".
I don’t know if this is an Android bug or a feature... You may try to reboot after uninstall before next install.
