@denommus@quitter.se #AndStatus loads Public Timeline from a server on demand only. So you can easily check, if all cached data was really cleared, by opening the Public Timeline just after cleaning of AndStatus data.
"Force stop" AndStatus by Android Application Manager before the cleaning. Otherwise data may be blocked by background processes and not deleted.

@mmn@social.umeahackerspace.se @mcscx@quitter.se From Twitter API point of view, "Repeat" (repost, retweet...) is a separate message (post, dent, tweet...) with its own identity, and so this "Repeat" can be removed like an ordinary message, and with the same API command, see https://loadaverage.org/url/2815966
BTW "Undo retweet" action works in #AndStatus.

@modemjunkie@gnusocial.cf Actually, I just thought about #AndStatus that being able to have, as an option, manual timeline refresh could give noticeable performance increase for people, who have many new messages in their timelines and frequent updates...

@morgenland@status.pirati.ca I found and fixed another cause of loosing typed text during message editing: it occured, when a Timeline was updated in a background.
The fix is released as #AndStatus v.20.4 (currently in the Beta channel: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.andstatus.app )

In this release additional improvements to the Message Editor were done. In particular, now software keyboard doesn't hide a box with a text of a new message.
