Made !gnusocial and #Hubzilla T-shirts, so during the summer I can shamelessly advertise some of the projects on #Freedombone. The Hubzilla one is all blue with the white logo and name. Gnusocial is black with the big red logo. -

Wondering whether to make some !gnusocial merchandise. FOSS projects are rarely advertised, and "wearing the T-shirt" or badge can sometimes be a talking point which makes people aware that these things exist. -

I'm also pretty perturbed that the camera operator *zoomed out* when it became clear that something notable was happening on-camera--and that the overall #news response was to do their best to ignore it. I think of these guys as having their job be "to make witness", and they really botched that. #BadWitness -

"Simone exited his pickup, appeared to be kneeling on the ground when officers ran up and a physical confrontation began. Video from Sky5 showed a struggle between the police and Simone which lasted for at least 15 seconds." Appears that police #thugs beat a non-resisting perpetrator, despite news chopper videotaping overhead. Probably won't be any repercussions, either. -

@mmn, my lack of support for Swedish puns and other arbitrary features doesn't just affect me, it affects everyone who tries to communicate with me. Maybe we'd all be better off if the US and Sweden were walled off from each other so we couldn't communicate at all. Maybe it would make us more competitive.... -

@hfaust No, it's all just bullshit. Who cares if it's a "competitive" messenger if it's just shit? I especially disagree about the part where they essentially say that "everyone must have the exact same client support" (like audio/video chat etc.).
