   @moonman One of my brothers used to steal my audiocassettes. I'd find them and take them back and he would steal them again. It was very satisfying ti smash them and cut the tape into pieces.

   I should point out that I'm not defending the police organizations that use this data in ways that were never authorized by the people involved. Sometimes "makes my job easier" is outweighed by the need to preserve people's freedoms. Anyone who went to a US high school should know this.
