   Still waiting for that vendor to send me a shipping-paid label for the server return. I'm starting to get angry about it. They made a mistake (sent some kind of Citrix-branded server instead of the Dell that was ordered). When I asked to return the erroneous product, they sent a label that requires me (or more accurately, #sonTwo, since he's got the equipment) to pay shipping costs.

    I’m sure this has happened before (and relatively recently, as it seems very familiar). The turkey that I just cooked is now going to be saved (I don’t know where, but it is) for Thanksgiving. I assume they’re going to rearrange the food in the freezer to try to fit it in there.

    While I was on the phone with #sonOne today, I heard #GD2 on the phone with one of her friends. She’s had one of her dad’s old phones without service as a sort of mini-tablet for ages. I guess they finally got her an active phone.

    Turn on the $EMPLOYER laptop and VPN into the network. Within a few minutes, a software push starts to download in the Software Center.
    
    See that it is a downgrade to some program that is installed. Shut down computer before the download completes, so it won’t install.
