There's still a lot of work to be done, but this means all three major application parts (view, database and network interaction) are at least working together on the most basic level. -

maiyannah (maiyannah)'s status on Sunday, 01-Jan-2017 11:15:02 EST maiyannah @mk I felt bed about just selling something that my stepdad gave me as a gift so I thought Id use it as a burner phone so at least then it gets some use.
My android phone is dual SIM as well, so if I decide the iPhone 6 is a pain, I'll just put the second sim in my android and nothings been lost but some time. -
maiyannah (maiyannah)'s status on Sunday, 01-Jan-2017 11:07:02 EST maiyannah Irrespective of the phone itself, I have to say I really like the OtterBox case that my stepdad had with it that he also gave me. Worth the like 100$ that they charge for them? Of course not. But still nice. -

maiyannah (maiyannah)'s status on Sunday, 01-Jan-2017 10:14:01 EST maiyannah I've decided that since it only costs me an addition 10$ to add a new phone to my existing plan I'll use the iPhone 6 my stepdad gave me as a burner, so to speak, that I can give to all these companies that insist on having your phone number, rather than my actual normal one. -

maiyannah (maiyannah)'s status on Sunday, 01-Jan-2017 09:26:54 EST maiyannah @takeshitakenji Because it is a function that is disabled by default in many versions of GNU social, for some reason, so in those circumstances, they need admin intervention. -

Bob Mottram (bob)'s status on Sunday, 01-Jan-2017 07:42:50 EST Bob Mottram One thing which is becoming clearer over time is that you can't really have software freedom unless you also have hardware freedom. That applies especially to things like phones, but also Intel ME and similar. So the free software foundation might eventually become the free technology foundation.
