Daughter-in-law sent a side view photo of #sonTwo and #GS3. The main differences are their ears and that one has a beard. Otherwise, they look as alike as two of the same model of car.

I'm a permanent vote-by-mail voter. Compared to in-person voting, I don't have to worry about lines, breakdowns, or running out of receipt paper for the machines.
(One time, I dropped #sonTwo off to vote. There were long lines, and while he was voting, they announced that because of the lack of receipt paper, most of their machines were inoperable. A couple of hundred people were unable to vote.)

When #sonTwo was in 4th? grade, he had to study the missions, so the plan was to visit every one of them in the Southern half of the state. My work schedule and finances were such that I never took him to a single one. (IIRC, his mother took him to 2-3 one weekend; that’s as far as it ever went.)

#sonTwo’s wife had a medical appointment. The doctor said her job is too stressful ... so now she’s got the added stress of trying to find a less-stressful job or the stress of them trying to stay afloat without her income.

#sonTwo got DisneyPlus for a month because he wanted to watch "Hamilton". They can't afford to keep the service, so he plans to watch the show again at least weekly while they still have it.

It is about 21:00 in #KCMO, so I'm not expecting a return call from #sonOne. #sonTwo is off-work around now, so I may get to talk with him for a little while.

The city's #Independence_Day #fireworks show was unimpressive because there were at least three other directions with equal or better fireworks. The muni show also lacked pacing, so there would be 3-4 in rapid succession, then a longish delay before the next little batch. I gave up on it and went back inside. The finale sounded impressive, but it was over before I got back outs…

#sonTwo tells me that #GS3 is playing with the granddoggy's new ball more than she is. I guess he like hers better than the ball I sent for him.

This was the sequel, and not a remake, correct? Either way, I haven't seen it, but I did take #sonTwo to see the first one (I don't think we saw it *on* Independence Day, but it was close afterward.

#sonTwo and his wife went on a hike today. They took #GS3, who rode most of the way in an on-back carrier that my son wore. Still, by the end of the trip, he was sleeping.

#sonTwo and his wife got good use out of the rice cooker / pressure cooker I sent them a few years back. He told me it stopped working today, but it has been a regularly used item for most of that period.

I used to watch the original Power Rangers and Power Rangers Turbo with #sonTwo and his friends. I got to see some episodes of Power Rangers in Space with my nephews. I'd like to sit down with #GS3 and #Little_Boy_A / #Little_Boy_A2 / #Little_Girl_A3 and binge watch the first few seasons ... if they can watch without karate chopping one another.

Heard from two of the kids today.
#sonTwo is thinking about quitting the 2nd job early. They still haven't made back the money that was lost due to the shutdown, but he says he's spending too much time working and not enough with the family or working on bettering his future.
#Daddy_A didn't receive the package today, so he's hoping it comes tomorrow or Monday.

#sonTwo sent me a picture of their flower garden. It is coming along. Includes roses.

One of the things in the box I shipped to #sonTwo was a #Batman coloring book for #GS3. He's going to wind up thinking that Grandpa likes Batman, but it is just a coincidence that I've sent a couple of Batman shirts and a Batman coloring book.
