They may have taken a short-seller position, but after what they wrote, it sounds kind of scummy to have anything to do with that company. -

#GS3's day: discovered a pantry door that hadn't been closed. Goes in there, peeks out to see if his parents saw him, then "Oh, no! I've been caught!" expression when #sonTwo gets up to retrieve him. Very funny. -

Oh, never mind. I see now. "Free Online Training" versus "Relevant Training Courses In Your Area". My area apparently goes from Los Angeles to Cathedral City to Riverside to Bakersfield. As much as I might want to learn about Cisco VOIP (and I would like to know a lot more about it, since $EMPLOYER actually uses VOIP), I'm not commuting two hours each direction (not counting traffic congestion) to take the classes. -

I looked at training resources in #CalJobs (since I'm required to use it). Sacred bovine! I've never seen such steer manure in my life. The whole list is variants of "Facebook marketing", "Google Ad Analytics". Now, I understand that these classes are all offerings by 3rd parties, not the state, but I know there are better and more realistic courses available. -

Auto factories closed, auto headquarters staff severely pruned, auto finance units cut way back or sold off, auto industry suppliers also affected. Lots of people moved away during the 2008-2011 recession. -
