    I’ve had the #Debian and #Devuan machines off because of the heat, but since I’m reinstalling Kubuntu on the laptop, I decided to go through and see which ones need major updates and run them.
    
    The Debian machine is upgrading to from 9 (Stretch) to 10 (Buster). The Devuan machine is upgrading from 2.x (Ascii) to 3.x (Beowulf). After they finish, I’ll look at the #Fedora and #OpenSuse machines.

    Also, there used to be some Ukrainian families (refugees) living nearby in the 1990s. I really enjoyed the sound of their language when they spoke to one another. I have not heard it since then.

    Someone told me that there are indoor fans that come with water cooling ... sort of like a miniature version of a swamp cooler. I think I should go look in Lowes or Home Depot ... if it can help keep a bedroom from breaching the 75F / 24C barrier then it is worth it.
    
    Our indoor relative humidity is about 19—20 % at 94F, so it should help.
