   @1iceloops123 I recently read an article about a woman who discovered that the family recipes that had been handed down for centuries were in fact kosher from before the Inquisition. It turned out that their family had "converted" to save their lives, but remained secretly Jewish until the memory of why they did things differently (their Jewishness) died out.

   Rarely do I try to find my old posts (in fact, I'd prefer if I could specify that they get automatically deleted after 90 or 180 days by default unless someone interacts with them), but there have been a few times when searching my own posts would have been helpful.

    Just finished talking to my co-worker S about some of our upper managers (in $EMPLOYER TechTeam) that were unually incompetent, but advanced very quickly. (That wasn't the entire 2.5 hours; we also talked about sneaky ways the agency seeks free labor, and about her upcoming call with her son about his overspending. Poor C is about to get a verbal A-double-snake beating.)

Normally, we all (me, #sonOne, #sonTwo, #Daddy_A) go to see a Star Wars flick on opening day, at approximately the same time (despite being in different areas), but this year, only the oldest kid has the budget for it.     @tealturtle Maybe guns out. That year, I was constantly hearing about shootings, stabbings, beatings, and robberies in Paterson. I had to drive there to work on an employee's computer (during daylight hours) and shortly before 17:00 a cop came by to remind us to go "home" for safety.
