   This year, someone asked me for electronic copies of old papers I wrote as a Business student. I got to laugh about it, as I replied that they were all on floppies and disposed of years ago.

   In all honesty, many of them were type on a manual typewriter, so there was never an electronic copy. Others were written using a variety of #MS-DOS software (whatever the campus computer lab had at the time).

   Made a little bit of progress on a project I've been working on for some time without much success. I'd say that I've probably had my most productive (as far as getting results is concerned) day in months.     This is pretty similar to what a NorCal co-worker said about his hybrid vehicle. In order to make it viable, he had to have a charging station installed on his property (part of a massive project involving solar and wind generation, lots of on-site battery storage, a diesel powered generator, and a connection to the power grid via PG&E).
