   i wish i could pinpoint why playing !go online causes me so much stress. everytime i think i have a cause reasoned, i find it to be inaccurate. i can play correspondence just fine but real-time games on IGS just cause me panic about 100+ moves into the game.

    Good !tzag, !fediverse. I slept in until 10:00 this morning! 10! I'm sure it's due to my inability to fall asleep last night but I've slept half the day... I've got !coffee going on the stove then it's off to the lodge to get ready for our next stated meeting. Gonna put my own junk out and pillage other people's junk for cleanup week after that.

    Weird, GNU Social converted that SGF file into a text file... Just download it and change the extension from .txt to .sgf and any !go application should be able to open it. I like to use #quarry or #qgo.

    Finally got a game of !go in online in real time without panic resignation. Unfortunately it was on KGS and I had to use their nonfree client to play.     It seems strange to me that !go game records have become kind of a weak commodity. It may be because they cost someone's time to watch a game and produce the #sgf or because they're so useful for study... I know that if they're ever sold, unauthorized copies are often distributed.
