   Just panic resigned from two games on #igs. I don't known why I can't play !go online without having "anxiety attacks", for lack of better words. I'm completely calm in person and I'm not worried about rank or losing. I think some of it is that I assume the other player is going to be much greater rank than I am so I feel like it'll waste their time and I won't learn anything.

   Played a lovely game of !go outside in this wonderful weather over lunch. My only regret is that I had to drive to play. DIdn't have enough time to make the walk.

   I just learned that OGS has realtime and correspondence APIs. I asked them to release their source code some time ago and was met with a resounding no. Now that they have an API, it might be possible to build a #freesoftware client against it. !go

    Just for a quick inventory, the only nonfree software I use these days: Several work-imposed proprietary services (though I use free software when possible), I caved and play !go on #kgs, the radio on my cell phone is non-free, and I own a #roku where the family watches Amazon Prime and Netflix. It's possible that my email is hosted on a service using nonfree software but I haven't looked into it fully yet.

    I wish #kgs was accessible via #freesoftware. I've been checking it out with their proprietary client and it seems like such a nice place. Certainly more friendly than #igs. !go
