@mmn question. I see that the git maser version of !gnusocial comes with an old statusnet.po in the locale folder. Is there any project to update this file and to translate !gnusocial into other languages. On my instance I am using an old statusnet.mo for German.

Seems like the aliases for the !FOSS group doesn't work. !FOSS and !foss works but not !FreeSoftware !freeSoftware !opensource or !OpenSource... Any idea why? !gnusocial

Is there a way to suppress "user deleted notice..." messages like http://bit.ly/1PEXoEv on !gnusocial ? It is really disturbing to have this messages in the time-line and the rss-feed

It's great news that @mariotaku (developer of #Twidere) has decided to also jump into the !gnusocial wagon. It looks like Twidere will greatly improve its GNUsocial compatibility :)

@roland No, !GNUsocial doesn't use an external reference to #Google. You do. Don't enable plugins if you don't want to use them.
