Every 10 years when trying statusnet friendica or now !gnusocial I seem to pull the same license thread with the warning the evil empire might steal the net. Could someone delete that thread please as I am to stupid to comprehend how to stop it from re-appearing.

guany.in updated PHP 7.0.3 running !gnusocial nightly code, shows lots of PHP notices but works fine.
My lamp build is on dockerhub mybuiltin/lamp.

Does anyone in !gnusocial have an idea why my name is linked as /index.php/user/…? On my instance itself FancyURL is used everywhere, just the offsite links not. Any tips? :/

@sebasfc Ja, aber eben der selbe Name auf verschiedenen Instanzen ist nicht wirklich sinnvoll - genau damit gibt es nämlich Probleme. Du müsstes auf den verschiedenen !gnusocial Instanzen verschiedene Namen haben.

@resumer @knuthollund Yes, whether the post is removed is entirely up to the receiving side. Think of !gnusocial nodes as feed readers. It's up to the reader to decide whether to cache or not. It's a public network, and everyone using it should be aware that it is.
(our strength is not _data privacy_, but decentralisation and interoperability)

Is there an easy way to ban a whole instance for your instance, if you're admin? Or do I have to edit the local hosts file? !gnusocial
