@bob Gabapentin can be effective with this kind of pain but you generally have to take it in unsafe doses (and pain relief is an off-scrip use for gabapentin, it's typically used for epilepsy), I've already probably got enough celecoxib in my system to fail employment drug tests at will, Thebacon, along with having an amusing name is a possibility but it's regulated … -

@bob I've been on this stuff long enough that the body's built up a resistance, but there aren't many things of similar strength to try as an alternative. -

The problem of over-prescription stems from the pharmaceutical companies pressuring doctors of all stripes to use their products, lets not forget that. The drugs they sell are usually safe, but the pharma companies are not. The danger they present isn't a chemical one usually however - because if their actual drug killed people, they'd be sunk - the danger pharma… -

"Are Psychiatric Medications Hurting More Patients Than They Help?" The medications themselves, like any other drug, have specific affects, and most psychiatric medications when used for their intended purpose are safe and at low risk for severe side effects. However, overprescription is a real problem, and using a bazooka on an ant is going to have a lot of colla… -
