HoSh (hosh)'s status on Monday, 09-Feb-2015 16:42:45 EST HoSh @rozzin I don't think I'm confusing things, but who knows... Anyway, It's a while since I used loadaverage, and a longer while since I used the bookmarklet. But I've gone back to test the one in your link and the bookmarklet works fine. I do seem to remember a similar one that allowed posting to an ordinary status though. (I never used the "bookmarks" feature of loadaverage because t… -
HoSh (hosh)'s status on Monday, 09-Feb-2015 14:42:42 EST HoSh Now I understand (I mean about the documentation, not about why it wouldn't work). Now the devil in me wants to ask, why can't we have a bookmarklet that does work? The bookmarklet, as I remember, provides a choice about whether to send to a "bookmark" or a "status". HoSh (hosh)'s status on Monday, 09-Feb-2015 13:26:00 EST HoSh @knuthollund @vegos I realized that what @rozzin is speaking of is something quite different from what @jrm had in mind (I think). HoSh (hosh)'s status on Monday, 09-Feb-2015 12:23:38 EST HoSh @knuthollund @rozzin it's not hugely important to me just now, either way, but I'm sure a lot of people would benefit from it's being there. Haven't checked if any of the popular browser add-on sharing services work with gnusocial, but someone might like to suggest it to them. (I sometimes would discover new social networks just from their mentioning them) -
HoSh (hosh)'s status on Monday, 09-Feb-2015 09:06:45 EST HoSh sorry - can't find it - someone once gave me the javascript for a bookmarklet that worked with loadaverage. It works quite well. If someone can find it, I think that it would be a good idea to stick that in the documentation. @rozzin @mattl @erkan ?
