   Now I understand (I mean about the documentation, not about why it wouldn't work). Now the devil in me wants to ask, why can't we have a bookmarklet that does work? The bookmarklet, as I remember, provides a choice about whether to send to a "bookmark" or a "status". Anyway, as I said, it's not something I would currently be using much, as I usually use Pinboard.

   @knuthollund @vegos I realized that what @rozzin is speaking of is something quite different from what @jrm had in mind (I think). One of the functionalities of http://status.hackerposse.com/url/671 and then gnusocial is indeed a separate type of posting for bookmarks. When http://status.hackerposse.com/url/6689 came apart at the seams Evan even started a dedicated bookmarks service …

   @knuthollund @rozzin it's not hugely important to me just now, either way, but I'm sure a lot of people would benefit from it's being there. Haven't checked if any of the popular browser add-on sharing services work with gnusocial, but someone might like to suggest it to them. (I sometimes would discover new social networks just from their mentioning them)

   sorry - can't find it - someone once gave me the javascript for a bookmarklet that worked with loadaverage. It works quite well. If someone can find it, I think that it would be a good idea to stick that in the documentation. @rozzin @mattl @erkan ?
