@andresinmp@loadaverage.org Currently #AndStatus has "Copy @ author" context menu item exactly for this:
When you are creating a message, you may search or simply scroll to an author that you want to mention, and copy his "user mention" to clipboard...
More advanced tool is described here, please review: https://github.com/andstatus/andstatus/issues/224 -

@xrevan86@loadaverage.org Yes, AndStatus doesn't have special themes for Lollipop yet. But using "Device default" theme allows to have at least one such theme -

@kris@social.adriel.info I switched to the Light theme on my device, and I see that links color is lighter than it is in e.g. Gmail application.
Definitely the "Light theme" definition in AndStatus needs revisiting. I created an issue here, please follow up https://github.com/andstatus/andstatus/issues/264 -

@kris@social.adriel.info Please check on your device: does the problem with links color exist in the other two themes, available in AndStatus? -
AndStatus (andstatus)'s status on Sunday, 26-Apr-2015 12:45:52 EDT AndStatus
@kris@social.adriel.info #AndStatus uses system provided colors for links. We don't set a color of links anywhere...
This means that you may try to change system wide settings somehow...
BTW, which theme are you referring to? Please post a screenshot. -

@kris@social.adriel.info Tip: Google for "HTTP code 400". This code is returned by a server, so this is a server, that knows what this means. Plus there is some other info, without which "400" doesn't mean much...

@dragnucs@quitter.no I'm usually linking to a Change Log, because it not only contains a link to AndStatus at Google Play, but has links to discussions of most of the changes.
I will add to this page a link to f-droid repository also, so you will have links to two sources of (signed by different keys) apk files.
The third source - building AndStatus yourself - is described here: https://loadaverage.org/url/2720511 -

@kris@social.adriel.info #AndStatus has now two means to help you understand the progress and if your post was successful or not: 1. Syncing indicator below a Timeline. It tells you, what application is doing now. 2. When the indicator's bar disappeared, you should understand that syncing has completed and now you can see results in two places: 2.1. @lnxw48 I have to protest this statement. As a developer of !gnusocial I _do_ see it as a problem that conversations are split and I don't think anyone disagrees. It would be best if there was a mechanism for "missing notices" to appear in your timeline. !OStatus technically supports this. I still can't say anything else than "yes, we want our implementation to handle … -

@lanodan@loadaverage.org AFAIK GNU Social doesn't have anything like "Streaming API" for client applications. Recently @kromonos@social.bka.li started implementation of "Push notifications", but it's also not done yet from a server side, see
https://github.com/andstatus/andstatus/issues/231 There will be not much work to implement this at the #AndStatus side once it works on a server.
Your help is needed here... -
