there is also rstat.us but I don't know how alive that project is. Federation btwn !gnusocial & #rstatus didn't really work when I tried.

@jimmorgan I've tried most #federated networks, from #StatusNet to #RStatus to #OneSocialWeb to #Diaspora, #Friendica, #Appleseed, #BuddyCloud, and #PumpIO. Very few of them realize that users should be able to use one or two sites to interact with *all* others.
