@uddaboktips Jag överväger att aktivera "pingbacks" på #quitter.is strax. Det innebär, precis som trackbacks/pingbacks på bloggar, att artikelförfattaren blir notifierad om när man länkar (+ att det ofta även länkas tillbaka). Skulle det påverka dina länkningar, eller ev. de du länkar till? Jag tror det främst är positivt att de du länkar till hittar ti…

@maiyannah Then !XMPP is exactly what you want. Personally I offer automagic account logins to anyone on #quitter.is and #quitter.es with an authentication module for #prosody that just piggybacks !GNUsocial's user table. So anyone on those servers can log in with their GS credentials :)

!GNUsocial #quitter.is was down last night due to oom-killer (out of memory). I've fiddled with the #MariaDB configuration but haven't done any super indepth analysis. Hopefully it won't explode quite the same way again though :)

@postblue There are some caches you could probably increase for #MariaDB (don't go too high or you'll oom-kill stuff like happened with #quitter.is last night).
I tried enabling the Memcached plugin yesterday too, but while I didn't notice any bugs (immediately anyway) I also noticed that it didn't actually increase performance :D

#quitter.is appears to be down and will be that until tomorrow :)
It's some issue with the VPS that I can't resolve right now, but I assume it's my fault :D

@benediktg Crawling the profiles should get all interesting profiles. Any profiles not connected via FOAF are probably best left ignored. (for example all the users who have never posted a single notice and have a nickname that matches regexp ^[a-z]{2}$ on #quitter.is :P
