Not the usual Pump servers, but servers that provide services that most federated socnets generate from each instance. For example, RagTag\.io was to provide hashtagging for the network. There were statistics hubs, a firehose, a find-your-friends service, and more. The repositories are still ther… -

Since its protocol is the direct ancestor of ActivityPub, much of what you'd need is likely already there in basic form.
I suspect that it would already have happened if Alex (currently main maintainer) wasn't busy with college. -

This is also when some of his Pump-related domains were lost.
.
It isn't surprising that he's active on #Twitter and #Facebook, just that Pump is still not compatible with anything else. (And that his personal Pump instance, E14N.com is gone.) -

.
I think they were #lost to the #corpocentric networks when Identica switched to #Pump.io and many #StatusNet instances closed. -

This complicates the plan to add a #Pleroma instance for !FNetworks before we upgrade to !gnusocial 2.0. I'm not really interested in hosting incompatible services (one reason why planned #Diaspora and #Pump.io instances were abandoned). -

AndStatus (andstatus)'s status on Wednesday, 21-Jun-2017 12:53:30 EDT AndStatus @shel Thanks for noticing CW and "post scope" for #Mastodon. "CW" (Content warning) is just a message title, which Mastodon uses (today) as a spoiler to hide a "toot"?! I agree, the option to add a title is really needed as it is supported at least by Mastodon and #Pump.io. Post scope, as I see, is a simplified way to select the message recipients. The feature is actual for ht… -

Interesting discussion: https://loadaverage.org/conversation/6782883#notice-6796031

Tip: #AndStatus application can store messages for years, this is why I easily found that conversation ;-) -
