The final pricing of Sony’s #PS5 is going to be the most important thing that drives people to buy it or shun it.
That may indeed be a factor, but there are also a number of us that don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on new hardware when we already have acceptable hardware (and games, at least for a while).

Discussing the Sony #PS4 and upcoming #PS5 with @bthall ... over the years, it looks like I paid for 8 PS4 consoles (and around the same number of Nintendo #Switch consoles), but the family never did play together (due to time zones, work schedules, family schedules, and so on) as planned, so I do not intend to purchase the new consoles for everyone.
