A lot of people are talking about the upcoming # I'm not planning to buy it, at least not any time soon.

I've bought Sony # consoles for multiple people (including but not limited to my sons), partly so we'd be able to play together. It hasn't happened very often, and I'm not looking to spend hundreds of dollars per console again.

I also bought a number of Nintendo # consoles.

Personally, I'll continue to mostly play legacy games (such as Atari's arcade classics and Megaman) on my existing hardware until a grandchild shows me a few games we can play together (which implies that the parents will have already bought the console).
