Wtf, how do I get a commit feed over #RSS from #GitLab?!
-
I'd like to create merge requests to gnuio (essentially to update the faq) and !gnusocial repos at https://git.gnu.io/ but #gitlab has a notion of teams and only team members can get the right to request merges (or so it seems??). Would you mind adding me as team member? @mattl @mmn

@knuthollund Not happy to see #githost shutting down. Not enough choices as it is. (besides !selfhost) :-( @mattl @mmn see parent post. #git #code-hosting #gitlab

#commonlispdotnet repos migrating to #gitlab http://url.federati.net/bkeN- not sure whether previously !selfhost ed or using one of the #beehive #code-hosting services.

(because #Gitorious is closing down because proprietary #GitLab are taking over)

The software is MIT licensed (not much better than #gitlab though, but at least #notabug don't have a separate comm…

@postblue, I'm not sure whether you're saying !GNUsocial should be hosted on gitlab.com or that the #GitLab code should be deployed as a #Savannah feature.
-
@rozzin @mmn @mattl #Savannah is ugly as hell. #GitLab is licensed under #MIT.

In this month's !KWLUG presentation, Colin Knapp will lead us through #Gitlab and its features; Mon, 7pm http://kwlug.org/node/954

@knuthollund Yeah, and at least they're not using #GitHub! ;) (they've got a selfhosted #GitLab)
-
@jamessan: Indeed!, I'm already holding my breath! (although I had higher hopes for #Gitlab …)

@pztrn When you installed #gitlab, did you see this wiki entry? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Gitlab
