@jbfavre Yeah, I think most have gone back to using !feds. I thought about starting a feds.status.net instance but, don’t currently have an email address to sign up with. (Can’t start a *.status.net with a gmail account…) -

@parlementum it’s a good thing you took out the plugins that were giving you trouble. Why bother with things that will just make this instance unstable anyway, right? -

@redbaptist it will allow new users. In the short term some decision will be made about expiring posts, perhaps after 12 months to help the DB size. If someone energetic wants to work on plugins etc they are welcome, otherwise it will remain at this state for the near term. I’m really not feeling well and don’t have energy to divert to this right now. -

@redbaptist don’t need to leave. the site will continue but in low maintenance mode. XMPP and TwitterBridge won’t return as they contributed significantly to CPU/RAM/Stability issues -
