Recently visited one of my sisters who doesn't live in the same house. I showed her and #faveNephew a photo of the tub after #lazyNephew showers. (We have to have his mother remind him to clean up behind himself.)

I'm not joining the conversation, but I am reminded of learning a few phrases in Puerto Rico, then calling #faveNephew and him telling me "we don't say that" and "we don't say it that way".

@geniusmusing #faveNephew keeps telling me that he wants to take me to #Mexico next time he goes to visit his grandmother, but at this point, I doubt it will ever happen.

Good morning. I spent most of yesterday on the road, so today I’m going to try to catch up with the things I missed.
Got to see a couple of nephews that I haven’t seen in a while. One was returning from physical therapy (workplace injury followed by surgery). The other was returning from work. #Fave_nephew was still at work, as was my niece #LG.

Talked to #faveNephew last night about his cousin #lazyNephew. Starting to get frustrated with him about him not contributing around the house (and with my sister for not teaching her sons that "everyone contributes when and where they can").

@triodug I hadn't seen the term "Latinx" until the Superbowl. So I asked #faveNephew, and he said it's a US thing ... he said not to say that around real Mexicans (his dad is from Mexico and he lived there for a while).

@triodug Nah, you won't be cancelled for the N word. You'll be cancelled for calling yourself a "Spic" instead of "LatinX" or whatever today's name for Hispanic is. (I really need to call #faveNephew and ask, so I don't use the wrong name when talking with people from that branch of the family.)

@aqeel I thought about shipping my #PSVita here, but #faveNephew doesn't get along with his cousin #Papaya who lives at my home, so I bought the #3DS instead.

@aqeel Mostly not playing. #faveNephew told me to get the Nintendo 3DS because I hadn't played anything in 1-2 years, but I really haven't played it either.

On #faveNephew's recommendation, I now have "Pokemon Sun" for my 3DS. The one I never play because I'm too tired after work. I suppose I can find some games suitable for small children and send it to #Toddler_A if I don't use it enough. (I also bought him a little Osh Kosh B'gosh jacket with a hood. With all the shirts and jackets he gets, he's got to be the warmest three year old in Arizona.)

@nybill @kevie #sonOne, #sonTwo, #Daddy_A, #faveNephew are still "wee laddies" even in their twenties and thirties. Even if Weeguy was finishing high school, he'd be a wee guy to his parents, uncles, aunts, grandparents.
