#BackdropCMS seems to have been forked from #Drupal. Drupal is naturally complicated, since it is really a set of frameworks and tools for building your own CMS. @musicman As far as #Alfresco vs { #Drupal + extensions } vs #OpenKM, I think part of it is the level of work involved in making a web-based document store ... after doing so much work, they really want to put "the good stuff" into a paid offering and leave raw pieces for those who won't pay. -

Is anyone using #Drupal as a document store? #Alfresco seems unnecessarily complicated to set up, and the packaged docker images don't completely work. Alfresco may be worth the effort if you have a giant company, but our team is 14 people.
Also, what is the point of a war file if it still takes days to set everything up? -
