The guy we knew from high school that had a heart attack a few days ago appears to be stabilizing. No one can visit him in the hospital because of COVID-19 -

#GS3 is walking and starting something similar to running. He’s still unsteady on his feet, so he has a weird leg movement and falls a lot, but he’s soon going to be challenging grandpa to races.
During his time off, #sonTwo is working to finish fencing the yard, so that my grandson and my granddoggy will both be contained in that space. -

Sneezing and coughing has stopped. It stopped before I went to the stores. As before, no supplies, despite signs saying they were resupplying and restocking overnight. -

Sneezing and coughing today. AFAIK, I haven't been exposed to #COVID-19, but the daily quest to find supplies (we had no money, so we could not have stocked up even if that was planned) does put me in public congregating places a lot more frequently than normal for me. -

@amic I'm often amazed at just how clueless managers are. How can someone work in a retail company and not know that employees in the stores live paycheck to paycheck? Last year, the head of $EMPLOYER came to the office and spoke to the employees. He said he did not understand why so much of our field workforce has such a negative view of the agency. I was shocked and dismayed … -

I'm assuming that these refer to illegal tax avoidance, rather than making use of tax deductions and tax credits that the law provides. An example of that would be the way large companies (Apple is one that comes to mind) will use a subsidiary in a low-tax rate country as a way to pay less money in taxes (both US taxes and overall). -
