   I'm also #amazed at how many people basically say `the only #VC system I know is #git and can't learn any others enough to submit a patch, not even diff and patch!'. Like, really? Did these people only get exposed to software #dev < ~3 years ago?

    My #StatusNet #git repo is 264 MB without ever having been touched by #bzr. "git gc" gets it down to 252 MB; "git gc --aggressive" gets it down to 77 MB. #Good-thing I have 16 GB RAM in this laptop....

    I don't see it. Maybe #ttn even implied that bzr is to blame for git repository bloat, but I'm at a loss as to #why that blame would fit.
