     @musicman We cancelled our family's Thanksgiving celebration months ago, but a number of #SoCal counties saw huge spikes caused by Labor Day barbecues. People are just tired of not being around their friends and families.      Also, spending several days with my 1.5 year old grandson last month really improved the way I feel. I can now understand why some people are going to have family gatherings regardless of the rules. (I'm not counting #anti-maskers and "COVID is fake" people.)
     
     I wouldn't have it myself, but I can understand.
