Has anyone done the Trek 1000 mile July #cycling challenge?
How much did you ride in June beforehand?

@musicman I never did any challenges, but do not try to go from zero to 1000 miles in a month. Your knees and ankles will not enjoy it.

@musicman Can you already do fifty miles a day for multiple consecutive days? I expect that you might need to go 40-45 miles each workday, then put in another 50 on Saturday. That would only give you Sunday for resting, so maybe 50 Monday through Friday and then weekends off.

the reality is I am planning to do 112 km each weekend day, minus spreading things out a bit over July 4th weekend. As long as we don't have a brutally hot July, and I stay otherwise healthy, I do not anticipate any problems.
I have a 125km ride planned for latest June, but otherwise June is pretty light (riding a bit each day).
10,000km for the year. Each day is planned.

488.46km is what's current, but I am going to increase it.
