    I remember when I moved 75 miles from the old neighborhood to this area. My best friend and his sister (an old gf) and I promised to stay in touch. But the old place was on a street where no one had telephones, and it was many years before I had one myself. Which meant that “keep in touch” was postcards and occasionally visiting, plus one Dodgers game per year.
    
    It worked for about a decade.

    @awg Is it normies that ruin everything? I thought it was people getting excited about the inflow of new users and not requiring them to follow the existing protocols and standards.
