   @lukaso666 #Debian ships with lots of defaults. It ships with a commandline tool to manage defaults. Why a default shell but not a GUI?

    It seems wierd that the default desktop in !Debian wheezy would change AFTER freeze and without popcon data backing up the decesion.

    @chriswaterguy sounds like rsync or duplicity would do the task. Grsync or deja-dup are both good frontends in the repos.

    @rozzin I may approach them on that idea eventually. They have someone/something producing GNU/Linux binaries, just no packages.

    Found a complex piece of GPL software id like to package for !Debian It compiles in GNU/Linux but no build system is in the tarball. Advice?
