I notice there are three giant Facebook billboards up in Manchester. I didn't read them in detail, but it looks like the message is something like using their system to resist or "fight back". Probably they're still riding on the common association between Facebook and the Egyptian revolution.
If I had a big ladder I'd be tempted to replace the Facebook logo with a !gnusocial or #Hubzilla one.

@ari es cuestión de gustos. AndStatus tiene una interfaz poco habitual pero a mi me funciona y me basta. Hay usuarios que prefieren Twitdere porque lo ven más intuitivo aunque el soporte de éste para !gnusocial creo que es más reciente y tampoco soportaba muchas funciones hasta hace relativamente poco.
Yo no he probado Twitdere. Prueba los dos y nos cuentas. :)

@ari seguramente habrás buscado por quitter y quitter es una interfaz para ver !gnusocial en web, no es el nombre de la red. Para !android tienes #andstatus y #twitdere. @gaile !gnusocial es descentralizada (no hay un único servidor/servicio como en Tuiter o Feisbu) y federada (los usuarios de los diferentes nodos/servidores interactúan entre sí).
Distribuída es que cada usuario es un nodo/servidor y no es el caso.

@glkelvin una red social llamada !gnusocial a la que te puedes conectar teniendo cuenta en uno de sus muchos servidores o nodos porque está federada, que quiere decir eso, que los usuarios de unos nodos pueden hablar también con los de los otros nodos.

@glkelvin son dos "nodos" diferentes de la red !gnusocial que tiene muchos. Fíjate en los usuarios y verás que usamos diferentes, pero hablamos entre todos. Un nodo es donde te das de alta en la red, como si tuvieras la cuenta de correo en un proveedor, pero puedes hablar con los de otros nodos/proveedores. I'm seeing those "bad SHA-1 HMAC" errors at around 1100-1700 notices in each of my !gnusocial rotated logs (default logrotate settings). A bit disconcerting.

I see bad HMAC errors from @awl, @ellistia, @mrmattimation, @narwhal, @nerthos, @scribus, @thelastgherkin, @tiffany, and @yodelerty. That'd explain why I haven't seen much of their stuff at all in my !gnusocial timeline.
