A much needed feature for !gnusocial is a way to search within my current subscriptions. Right now I want to remove the old account used by @nds after subscribing to the new one. There is no way to get this done other than looking for it manually, page by page :-S

@gargron It isn't all or none. It is some new instances will run #GNU_Social, some will run #PostActiv, some will run #Mastodon. I think of the projects more as allies than competitors.

So I'm not going to completely pull the plug on either #Bitmessage or #Twister yet, but neither one seems to have much personal interaction going on*, so I expect to greatly reduce the time and effort invested in either one. Twister is full of feed repeaters, but not much actual person-to-person conversation. Meanwhile, it can be months between incoming messages on Bitmessage…

@gargron !GNUsocial has a Twitter-import feature, too. But as soon as Twitter finds out you import "their content" they will ask you to stop

Two times now that !gnusocial /scripts/queuedaemon.php brought my server to the limits. This script took more than 75% of memory and a lot of CPU ressources. Where to search to problem?

The clan I joined in Elder Scrolls uses facebook. I was able to create a pseudonym on facebook, it just looks like a real name.
