Lot of people have given up on running their private !GNUSocial instances (single user instances). We see more and more public sites instead. This seems to be the current trend when compared to what we saw in the aftermath of #pumpio separation. Those days, many users attempted running their own site.

Is group administration federated on !GNUsocial? I am an administrator on another server, but I cannot find any way to manage the group.

Another patch to #quitim today, slowly getting to a state where we can have mass installations of Quitim nodes with latest !gnusocial backend.

Added javascript event callback support in !gnusocial to support since I had to catch something from #quitim without hacking too much. Nightly has it. Probably doesn't break too much. Just aborts any subscription attempts to @chimo. It's a feature, not a bug.

Here is a brief and hopefully not too technical summary of what got fixed during the first !gnusocial !hackfest https://git.gnu.io/aroque/gnu-social/wikis/GnuSocialHackfest2015. I hope I didn't miss anything, if so I'll amend. All these changes are still in the nightly branch, and some still have to be merged, so please be patient!
